The famous cycling results website ProCyclingStats and Team SmartDry – Girona Cycling City partner up for season 2022 with the goal to reach more attention for cycling in Spain.

Thus far in the history of cycling, the majority of cycling races in Spain do not make it onto websites that publish the results of cycling races. That is what Team SmartDry-founder Iwan Schrijver says. “Since the competitions in Spain are not in the UCI category, but rather belong to the RFEC (Royal Spanish Cycling Federation), they do not get the same attention online.”

Schrijver: “Fortunately, in 2022, with the collaboration of PCS and Team SmartDry – Girona Cycling City, this will change. ProCyclingStats will be publishing a significantly higher number of races and race results in Spain.”

PCS-owner Stephan van der Zwan is happy with the collaboration for 2022. “Working closely together with this revolutionary team, we are creating opportunities for young, talented cyclists racing in Spain to create more visibility. PCS is the largest website for cycling races results in the world and these race results will be seen internationally.”
