Catalan-Dutch cycling club Team SmartDry – Girona Cycling City is chuffed to work together with the Italian bike manufacturer Gios in season 2022. The A-team will be racing on their bikes in every single race in Spain, and in Europe.

The Club-members will still have the possibility to race on Bianchi-bikes, however, the A-team is stepping it up to Gios Bikes in 2022.

Team SmartDry has been racing on Bianchi Bikes over the last year and the team’s general manager Iwan Schrijver can hardly express his happiness about keeping the Italian brand on board for 2022. “I am very excited that we continue to race on Bianchi Bikes in 2022, this year with our Club-members. We have had great successes over the last few years on their bikes, including multiple victories and numerous podium spots since our birth in 2017.” 

He is even happier that that Gios is going to be the main partner of the A-team. “Partners like Gios are essential for us as the management of this team to continue to offer the most professional atmosphere to our talented riders from Catalonia, The Netherlands, and our international riders. They have a unique opportunity to race on bikes from a bike brand with a long and successful history in amateur and professional cycling.”

Schrijver: “For Gios, it will be a fantastic sight to see their corporate colours and eye-catching bikes in Girona, the cycling City of Catalonia, and surroundings. They have a chance to conquer the Catalan market with their products. We will proudly race on their bikes, motivated to create the best version of ourselves on the bike, and to win bike races.”
